Kiss claims pole for race 1 in Most

29 August 2020

Norbert Kiss kicked off his first season with his new Révész Truck Racing Team and MAN truck with an impressive performance on track, setting the fastest times in all practice sessions and qualifying to claim pole for race 1 in Most.

Kiss set the fastest sector times and grabbed the top spot by a margin of 0.161s ahead of Jochen Hahn. The German who races a brand-new IVECO S-Way this season couldn’t quite match Kiss’ speed and had to settle for second place.

Starting from third on the grid this afternoon is Sascha Lenz in his new, bright-green MAN. He will share the second row with local hero Adam Lacko in his BUGGYRA Zero Mileage Racing Freightliner.

Steffi Halm qualified her new Team Schwabentruck IVECO S-Way in fifth position ahead of Lion Truck Racing driver Anthony Janiec.

René Reinert showed good pace in all free practice sessions and will start race one from seventh.

New comer Téo Calvet of BUGGYRA Zero Mileage Racing finished an impressive eight in his first official qualifying session which also puts him in first of the Promoters Cup runners.

The final two places in Super Pole were rounded out by race-by-race entrant Lukas Hahn and Jamie Anderson who starts 10th.
