FIA ETRC TV coverage announced for 2016

An exciting and comprehensive TV and website broadcasting list has been issued for the 2016 FIA ETRC season

The FIA European Truck Racing Championship (FIA ETRC) will enjoy increased global coverage and exposure this year as it enters a new era of media growth.

For the 2016 season the FIA ETRC 26 min-highlights will be seen across six continents and over seventy countries, giving an expansive view to the all-action heroics of the world’s most competitive truck racing championship.

In Europe, Motors TV and Sky TV will have highlights of every round of the nine date championship, as will the beIN Sport channel in France and Sport 5 in the Czech Republic.

The championship will also feature in worldwide key magazine programmes during the season with Motorsport Mundial, Mobil 1 – The Grid, Max Power and Planet Speed all committing to showing the action.

Fox Sports will have unrivalled truck coverage throughout the US and Latin America, with no less than 18 countries showing the FIA ETRC.

In Asia there will be the best ever exposure to the FIA ETRC, as the ever expanding Ali Baba Sports channel in China comes on board. Also new for 2016 is the free to air SBS channel in Australia.

The Middle East and Africa will be an important territory for the championship as the 2016 season will be covered across both continents by beIN Sports and Fox Sports respectively.

In addition to the multitude of television channels, the FIA ETRC will also continue to grow on-line with a brand new website – and a new and vibrant identity on Facebook

Fans can look forward to live broadcasts of the Nürburgring, Hungaroring and Le Mans rounds which will also be available on the this official website and thanks to a new full season timekeeping service brought to the championship, all the races can be followed via live timing on

With additional broadcasters to be confirmed in the weeks leading up to the first race of the season at Red Bull Ring in Austria (30 April – 1 May), the FIA ETRC will sure to be creating a further buzz as it enters a new phase in its development.
